BIMI

A standard that displays your verified brand logo beside authenticated email in supporting inboxes, once DMARC is enforced.

BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification) lets your brand logo appear next to your messages in supporting mailboxes. It is a visible reward for getting email authentication right, not an authentication method itself.

BIMI requires DMARC at an enforcement policy (p=quarantine or p=reject) covering the domain; a record of p=none will not qualify. You publish a TXT record at default._bimi.yourdomain.com with an l= tag pointing to your logo and, where required, an a= tag pointing to a certificate.

The logo must be an SVG Tiny PS file: square, with a solid background and no scripts or external references. To show logos, Gmail and Apple Mail require a verified mark certificate issued by an approved authority: a VMC for registered trademarks, or a CMC for other marks.

Because enforcement comes first, reaching BIMI means your domain is already protected against exact-domain spoofing. DMARC Engine takes domains to enforcement so BIMI becomes possible. Validate your record and logo with the tools below.
